Mike Nolan 3rd coach fired (so far this year)

The San Francisco 49ers have fired head coach Mike Nolan and replaced him with Mike Singletary despite initial reports that Nolan would be fired after the Seattle Seahawks game this Sunday. The 49ers have a bye after the Seahawks game.

The 49ers are 18-37 under Mike Nolan. Singletary joined the 49ers coaching staff in 2005.

Earlier in the year, Scott Linehan of the Rams and Lane Kiffin of the Raiders were fired. My guess is Nolan won't be the last to go this year.
