Roy Williams: "Playoffs?"

I just wrote a blog post about Rod Marinelli's reaction to quitting. After all, the Detroit Lions are off to an 0-4 start and rank deadlast in the latest Domination Index update.

But Detroit's WR Roy Williams has an interesting take on the situation in the Motor City:
"How do you keep going? We still have a realistic chance to make the playoffs, believe it or not," receiver Roy Williams said. "We can still be 12-4, 10-6 or 11-5. It happened before. It happened with the '92 Chargers. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen."
Are you serious Roy? Did Webster's dictionary change the definition of a "realistic chance" and forget to notify me? If the definition is now "no shot in hell", then I completely agree with you.
