Mangini hires Rob Ryan from Raiders

The Cleveland Browns have hired Rob Ryan from the Oakland Raiders to serve as the Browns' defensive coordinator.
"It's great to be part of the Browns organization and to be reunited with Eric Mangini," said Ryan.
In 2008, the Browns ranked 26th in total defense (356.5 ypg), 28th in rushing defense (151.9 ypg) and 14th in passing defense (204.6 ypg).

The Raiders ranked 27th in total defense (360.9 ypg), 31st in rushing defense (159.7 ypg) and 10th in passing defense (201.3 ypg).
