Brett Favre to visit Browns' training camp?

Brett Favre might be joining Eric Mangini and the Browns at training camp.
"He might come out to training camp to visit," Mangini said. "Maybe I will have him do the show team or just hang out."

"I don't think it would be anything formal," Mangini said. "It's not like we are hiring him to run the scout team. I don't think he would be interested in that. He would be more like a visitor. An open invite."
The Jets, Mangini and Favre started generating talk of a Jets-Giants Super Bowl after they went to Tennessee and beat the Titans to improve to 8-3. However, Favre's poor performance down the stretch as much as anything else led to the team's collapse. The Jets finished 9-7 and missed the playoffs.

That collapse is ultimately what cost Mangini his job.
"We had a legitimately good relationship," Mangini said. "He's a good guy. I like Brett a lot. That was a tough situation for him to come into and I thought he handled it incredibly well."
Mangini has said that QBs Brady Quinn and Derek Anderson will face off in an open competition during training camp.
