Bucs offer Brooks front office job?
Earlier in this off-season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers released 11-time Pro Bowler Derrick Brooks among other players.
According to JoesBucsFan.com, the Bucs offered Brooks a front office position not long after cutting him. The site goes on to say that Brooks told the Glazers, the family that owns the Bucs, that he'd like to exhaust all possibilities as a player first.
Brooks, the Bucs first-round pick in 1995, has 1719 tackles, 13.5 sacks and 25 interceptions in his career. He had 100+ tackles in 12 of his 14 seasons. In 2002, Brooks had 4 defensive touchdowns and won the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award.
