Cowboys sign Igor Olshansky

The Dallas Cowboys lost Chris Canty to (and replaced him through) free agency. The Cowboys have signed Igor Olshansky to a 4-year, $18 million contract with $8 million guaranteed.

He has played for Wade Phillips, who the Chargers defensive coordinator in Olshansky's first 3 seasons in the league (2004-2006).

Olshansky, drafted by the Chargers in the 2nd round of the 2004 NFL draft, has 11 career sacks in his 5 seasons.
