Orlando Pace visiting with Chicago Bears

Despite an offer from the Baltimore Ravens, free-agent tackle Orlando Pace is visiting with the Chicago Bears.

Pace, who was released by the Rams, could be reunited with Lovie Smith, who was the Rams defensive coordinator before becoming the head coach for the Chicago Bears.

The Bears have a need at tackle after losing John St. Clair to the Cleveland Browns via free agency and John Tait to retirement. However, they signed Kevin Shaffer as a free agent from the Browns.

Signing Pace, who is a seven-time Pro Bowler, could provide the Bears with more flexibility in this year's draft. However, Pace has been plagued by injuries in recent seasons.
