Saints release Mike McKenzie
The New Orleans Saints have released cornerback Mike McKenzie, who has spent the last five seasons with the Saints.
Before joining the Saints, McKenzie played five seasons with the Green Bay Packers. During his 10-year career, he has 27 career interceptions.
“Decisions such as these are the hardest to make in this business,” said Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis. “Mike has been a standout performer for the Saints both on and off the field during his career with the Saints. We wish him well in his future and thank him for all of his efforts representing the Saints.”McKenzie landed on Injured Reserve to end each of the past two seasons.
