Thurman Thomas says Bills "stink"

Hall of Fame RB Thurman Thomas had some critical comments about his former team and the player who currently plays his former position. Thomas was speaking at a fund-raising event in Buffalo over the weekend.
“The team I can’t stomach the most when I watch them is probably the Buffalo Bills,” Thomas said to laughs. “I’m serious. They stink. They need some better football players.”
The Bills started strong in 2008 with a 5-1 record. Then they collapsed going 1-7 in their next 8 games. The Bills finished last in the AFC East with a 7-9 record.

On the field, RB Marshawn Lynch, the Bills' first-round pick in 2007, was solid finishing the year with his second 1000-yard season in as many years. However, Lynch has been far from solid off the field.
“If I was the GM, he’d be out of there,” Thomas said.
Lynch was arrested mid-February for possession of a concealed firearm. Lynch is fortunate that his felony gun charges have been reduced to 3 misdemeanors, but he could still face discipline from the league.
