Broncos give Bears 5th-round pick in addition to Cutler

In the trade that sent QB Jay Cutler to the Chicago Bears for Kyle Orton and three draft picks (two first-rounders and one third-rounder), the Broncos will also send a fifth-round pick in 2009 to Chicago as well.

The Broncos acquired the fifth-round pick from the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for Keary Colbert last year.

In Denver, Cutler, who threw for 4526 yards last year, had Brandon Marshall and Eddie "Casino" Royal as targets. In Chicago, he won't have many weapons in the passing game. However, the Bears have an established running game (a.k.a. a QB's best friend) with rookie Matt Forte, who rushed for 1238 yards (7th in NFL) last year.
