Drew Bennett visits Browns

Per Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, free agent receiver Drew Bennett was scheduled for a workout with the Cleveland Browns on Wednesday.

Bennett signed a free-agent deal with St. Louis in 2007. Before spending the 2008 season on injury reserve, he caught 33 passes in 2007 for 375 yards and three touchdowns.

His best season was with the Tennessee Titans in 2004. That year, he had 80 receptions for 1247 yards and 11 touchdowns. During the 2004 season, Bennett caught eight touchdowns in a three-game span.

If the Browns don't sign Bennett, there is some speculation that he could land in Tennessee.

Although the Titans drafted Kenny Britt in the first round and the Browns drafted Brian Robiskie in the second round, both teams could use help at wide receiver.
