Drew Bennett works out for Falcons
Free agent wide receiver Drew Bennett worked out for the Cleveland Browns on Wednesday.
On Thursday, Bennett worked out with the Atlanta Falcons per Steve Wyche of NFL.com.
The Falcons traded receiver Laurent Robinson to the St. Louis Rams this off-season. Bennett would help provide some depth to their receiving corps behind starters Roddy White and Michael Jenkins.
Bennett, who missed all of 2008 on injured reserve, had 33 receptions for 375 yards for the St. Louis Rams in 2007. In his career, Bennett has 307 receptions for 4412 yards and 28 touchdowns.
