Ephraim Salaam to visit Lions
Per Alex Marvez of Fox Sports, Houston guard Chester Pitts says that his former teammate Ephraim Salaam will visit the Detroit Lions. Pitts was interviewed by Marvez on Sirius NFL Radio yesterday.
Salaam is an 11-year veteran and has started 129 games in his career. However, last season he backed up rookie Duane Brown in Houston.
According to Pitts, Salaam has some reservations about visiting with the Lions since they are considering drafting an offensive tackle with the first overall pick. If they do, Salaam would be a back-up for the Lions as well.
