Ex-Steeler John Banaszak hospitalized

Per the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, John Banaszak, who played DE for the Pittsburgh Steelers and is currently an assistant coach at Robert Morris, was hospitalized after becoming ill while working out.
"It was touch-and-go earlier, but we're hoping for the best," [Robert Morris sports information director Jim] Duzyk said. "Nothing has been ruled out. Knowing coach Banaszak, he'll keep fighting it."
Reports that Banaszak suffered aneurysms weren't confirmed, but he is expected to make a full recovery.

Banaszak played for the Steelers from 1975 to 1981. He started in two of the three Super Bowls (XIII & XIV) he won as a Steeler.
