Jaguars release OT Spencer and FB Cottrone
The Jacksonville Jaguars, who drafted offensive tackles with their first two picks in the NFL draft Saturday, released tackle Charles Spencer.
Virginia's Eugene Monroe was selected with the eighth overall pick and Arizona's Eben Britton was selected with the 39th overall pick. In addition to Monroe and Britton, the Jaguars added Tra Thomas via free agency this off-season.
The Jags signed Spencer last September after Richard Collier was shot.
In addition to Spencer, the Jaguars released FB Anthony Cottrone.
