Leach suspends McKinner Dixon indefinitely

Texas Tech coach Mike Leach is "sick and tired" of Tech junior DE McKinner Dixon, who has been suspended indefinitely due to academic issues per the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal.

This problem isn't new for Dixon, who flunked out of school after his freshman season. He attended Cisco Junior College in his sophomore season.
"We've got 130 people out there," Leach said. "I'm getting sick and tired of wasting time on a handful of people who can't do what they're told. It's like the 95-5 [idea]: You spend 95 percent of your time on 5 percent of your players. Baloney. I'm not doing that."
Dixon was second on the team in sacks (9) in 2008 behind Brandon Williams, who had 13 sacks and left the program early for the NFL draft.
