Sheldon Brown feels disrespected by Eagles

Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Sheldon Brown is pulling a Lito Sheppard, who was traded to the New York Jets this off-season.

Unhappy with his contract, which has four years remaining, Brown has asked the Eagles for a trade. However, the Eagles aren't going to renegotiate his contract, which Brown calls "a total lack of respect," nor trade him.
"Sheldon's comments under the circumstances actually serve to devalue him in a trade if we were willing to consider it; which we are not."
Brown, drafted in the second-round by the Eagles in 2002, has 380 career tackles, seven sacks and 14 interceptions.

At 30 years old and under contract until 2012, the Eagles have no reason to re-work his deal.
