Titans sign DeMarcus Faggins
The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms on a two-year contract with cornerback DeMarcus Faggins, who has spent his seven-year career in Houston. Faggins was also considering the Miami Dolphins.
However, they lost two corners this off-season. Eric King left for the Lions and Chris Carr signed with the Ravens.
Faggins started five games in 2008 for the Texans. He had 28 tackles and no interceptions in 2008.
"We think it's a good fit for him to come in as the third corner and challenge for significant playing time there,'' agent Robb Nelson said. "It was a tough decision ... Tennessee was the better fit.''Cortland Finnegan and Nick Harper are the starting corners for the Titans.
