Georgia suspends two players
The Georgia Bulldogs have suspended two players for violating its substance abuse policy.
Junior tight end Bruce Figgins, who was also suspended for last season's opener against Georgia Southern, will be suspended for the first six games of the season. Sophomore defensive end Justin Houston will be suspended for the first two games of the season.
Junior wide receiver Tony Wilson, who also violated the substance abuse policy, will leave the team due to an ankle injury.

"I'm very disappointed in the poor judgment of these players," [Georgia coach Mark] Richt said in the news release. "They'll have to pay an appropriate price and I'm confident they will learn an important lesson from their mistake."Georgia begins their season on the road at Oklahoma State on September 5th and at South Carolina on September 12th.
