Jim Johnson taking it "one (day and) camp at a time"

Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Johnson, who had a recurrence of cancer in his spine, has been participating in the Eagles' three-day rookie mini-camp this weekend.
I’m feeling good,” Johnson said Saturday. “I’m still going through treatment. The biggest thing I’m trying to get now is the pain out of my back. I have some broken bones in the lower part. So that doesn’t allow me to be on my feet quite as much. But everything else, I feel fine.”
Johnson is not sure whether he'll coach from the sidelines or the coaching booth when the Eagles open the season.
“It’s too early to tell,” Johnson said. “I’m taking this one day at a time or one camp at a time. I’ll just keep working at it and as long as I can hold my work schedule, I’ll feel fine and we’ll just see how it goes.”
The Eagles open the season in Carolina on September 13th.
