Marshawn Lynch appeals suspension
Buffalo Bills running back Marshawn Lynch has appealed his three-game suspension, according to Allen Wilson of the Buffalo News.
Lynch has had two separate run-ins with the law over the course of the past two post-seasons. Or, in other words, these two incidents have occurred within a nine-month span.
He was involved in a hit-and-run accident last May and he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor gun charge in March.
Even though NFL commissioner Roger Goodell won't waive the suspension, it's worth it from Lynch's perspective to appeal. Goodell will either not reduce the suspension (and Lynch is in the same position as he was before) or he will reduce the suspension (and he's in a better position than he was before).
