Rhodes is "not the target of any criminal investigation"
According to a report by Oren Yaniv of the NY Daily News, New York Jets safety Kerry Rhodes is not the subject of any criminal investigation in relation to the allegations by a Canadian tourist, who claims she was raped at Rhodes' house in New Jersey.
"Mr. Rhodes is not the target of any criminal investigation," Morris County Prosecutor Robert Bianchi said in a statement.
"Information which is being reported through the media that Mr. Rhodes is the subject of a rape investigation is factually untrue and wholly inaccurate and has the capacity to unfairly damage the reputation of Mr. Rhodes," he added.
Although Rhodes is not the target of an investigation, the same isn't true for his friend.
