Greg Ellis is heading to the Black Hole

Ex-Cowboys linebacker Greg Ellis, who has been unhappy during the past few off-seasons, and the Oakland Raiders have agreed to a multi-year deal, per Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

The Cowboys released Ellis earlier this month and Hill believes that Ellis will move back to defensive end.

Ellis, who was drafted in the first round in 1998, played defensive end in college and for the majority of his NFL career. Ellis transitioned from DE to LB in 2006.

The deal is believed to be for three years although financial terms aren't known. Ellis will turn 34 years old in August.

If he was really as miserable as he seemed in Dallas off-seasons, just imagine how he'll feel in Oakland.
