Rosenhaus tweets "5 teams" interested in Plaxico

Is agent Drew Rosenhaus trying to pull the 2009 version of his Willis McGahee draft showmanship with Plaxico Burress?

He tweeted, "There are now 5 teams interested in Plaxico. I expect more teams to enter the mix over the next few weeks as well."

Today the NFL notified Burress that they are reviewing his incidents under the league's personal conduct policy.

Burress, who shot himself in the leg at a nightclub last November, faces gun possession charges that carry a minimum sentence of 3 1/2 years. Although Goodell and the league were waiting for the legal process to run its course, Plaxico's case was adjourned until September 23rd.

The Bears, the Jets and the Bucs have shown interest in Plaxico. However, there were reports earlier in the month that indicated interest in Burress by those teams was waning.

So, if you were to believe Rosenhaus (which I don't), interest in Burress is increasing around the league at the same time the NFL is beginning the process that will likely lead to a lengthy suspension for Burress?
