Sean Payton's idea to become a movie?

A couple of years ago, New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton came up with an idea for a screenplay that is now being shopped around Hollywood, according to Mike Triplett of the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

"I just wrote about four pages, piddling around with it," said Payton. A professional screen writer finished "The Xbox Kid."

The movie is about a poor kid who has a refurbished Xbox and his play determines the outcome of NFL games.

Per Triplett, the idea came to Payton when his son was playing the Saints upcoming games during the 2006 season, which was Payton's only 10-win season in his three years as Saints head coach.

Can't you just see Payton on the headset with his son asking him to run a reverse flea flicker to see how it turns out before calling it in a real game?
