Rich Cimini of the NY Daily News listed his five Jets' sleepers for the 2009 season. On it was QB Kellen Clemens. Writes Cimini: "Everybody seems to have anointed Mark Sanchez, but Clemens isn't out of the running just yet. Okay, okay, it's a longshot, but we know this much about Clemens: From a mental standpoint, he can operate the kind of think-on-your-feet offense that Brian Schottenheimer wants to run."
The other four Jets' sleepers on Cimini's list are WR Chansi Stuckey, CB Ahmad Carroll, DT Howard Green and TE Kareem Brown.
Giants LB Clint Stintim strained his right hamstring and left practice early today, according to Ralph Vacchiano of the NY Daily News.
Ravens NT Haloti Ngata is expected to be at Ravens' practice Wednesday. “We just got done with classes, so I’ve been staying in shape and working out,” Ngata said. “I’m ready to get back to Baltimore, so I’ve been packing up all weekend to head back east.”
