D.A. will be ready for camp

Indianapolis Colts v Cleveland Browns

Despite leaving mini-camp with a limp, Cleveland Browns quarterback Derek Anderson is healthy and he'll be ready for the August 1st start to the Browns' training camp, according to James Walker of ESPN.

Browns coach Eric Mangini has said there will be an "open competition" at quarterback. That being said, the Browns probably won't make their choice until the end of training camp.

Last year, the Browns under Romeo Crennel benched Anderson in favor of Brady Quinn, their second of two first-round picks in 2007. Quinn played well in his first start, but he broke his index finger the following week.

Collectively, the Browns stunk it up offensively to end the season. Their last offensive touchdown was scored on November 17th.
