R.I.P. Jim Johnson
After recently stepping down as Eagles defensive coordinator, Jim Johnson has lost his fight with cancer today.
He has passed away at 68 years old and he spent the past 22 years as an NFL assistant coach.
Johnson, who was known for his agressive style of defense, was one of the best defensive coordinators in the game.
Since 2000, the Eagles' defense under Johnson ranked fourth in fewest points allowed (17.7 per game) and second in sacks (390). Under Johnson, the Eagles have sent 26 defensive players to the Pro Bowl.
Rest in peace.
