Steve McNair was shot and killed in double homicide
Former NFL quarterback Steve McNair was shot and killed in a double homicide in downtown Nashville, per News Channel 5 in Nashville.
The incident happened at 2nd South & Lea Ave.
McNair, who was selected third overall by the Houston Oilers in 1995, spent 13 years in the NFL and was one of the toughest players in the league. He spent his first 11 seasons with the Oilers/Titans franchise and his last two with the Ravens.
He was named co-MVP with Peyton Manning in 2003.
