ESPN reports Vick to Eagles
Michael Vick has found a home.
Per Chris Mortensen of ESPN, the Philadelphia Eagles have signed Vick to a two-year contract.
The last time Vick played was on December 31, 2006 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia when the Eagles beat the Falcons 24-17.
Vick, who is a three-time Pro Bowler, was conditionally reinstated by the NFL and he can practice and play in the final two pre-season games. He could play as early as week six unless NFL commissioner Roger Goodell decides to fully reinstate him earlier.
The Eagles play the Jaguars in week three of the pre-season and the Jets in week four. In the regular season, the Eagles play in Oakland in week six and in Washington week seven. Their first home game after week six would be against the Giants on November 1st.
