Adam Schefter tweets Tony Romo to have ankle examined
Per Adam Schefter (via his Twitter account), "Cowboys QB Tony Romo told Michael Smith that he hurt his right ankle in today's third quarter and will have it examined Monday. Hmm."
The Cowboys beat the Buccaneers today 34-21 and Romo played the entire game. He finished with 353 passing yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions.
Next week, the Cowboys open up their new stadium against the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football. Yours truly will be making the road trip to Dallas next weekend.
Considering Romo continued to play through the injury, hopefully it's nothing serious. Stay tuned...
