Wade Phillips is 'sonofbum' on Twitter
Of all NFL head coaches to be the first to sign up for a Twitter account, would you have expected it to be Cowboys coach Wade Phillips?
Me neither.
But, according to Tim McMahon of the Dallas Morning News, Phillips has signed up for a Twitter account under the ID of 'sonofbum.' As of yesterday, he had 1200 followers.
"I just tried it out to see what it was," said Phillips, the first NFL head coach with a confirmed Twitter account. "They said it wasn't hard to get on there, so I did it."
So, what's next? Browns coach Eric Mangini signing up under 'CoachWithoutAQB' or Vikings coach Brad Childress signing up under 'FavresBitch.'
