Westbrook out, McCoy to start
Eagles running back Brian Westbrook won't play today against the Kansas City Chiefs, per ESPN's Sal Paolantonio. Instead, rookie LeSean McCoy will start in his place.
Westbrook, who was listed as questionable with an ankle injury on the team's injury report, will have two weeks for his injury to heal. The Eagles have a bye in week 4.
On the season, Westbrook has 116 rushing yards (on 26 carries) and McCoy, the Eagles' second-round draft pick, has 64 rushing yards (on 14 carries).
The Chiefs have allowed 132.5 rushing yards per game and three rushing touchdowns this season.
