Carlos Rogers calls out owner

Redskins cornerback Carlos Rogers is pointing fingers and, surprisingly, it's at the guy who signs his paychecks.

"It not only starts with the players, coaches," Rogers said, per the Associated Press (via Pro Football Talk). "It starts with the ownership."

While I agree with Rogers, it is gutsy to publicly call out the head honcho -- even if he makes poor decisions.

Rogers, the first of the Redskins' two first-round picks in 2005, may have punched his ticket out of DC. Then again, that may be his plan.

The Redskins are 2-3 and in last place in the NFC East. They squeaked out their two wins against two of the league's worst teams (the Rams and Bucs, who have combined for an 0-10 record) by a combined margin of five points. And head coach Jim Zorn sits on the hottest seat in the league.

So, who will have a longer tenure with the Redskins from this point forward: Rogers or Zorn?
