Matt Hasselbeck likely to start vs Jaguars

When the Seahawks host the Jaguars Sunday, Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck, who's practiced for three straight days, is expected to get the start, according to Eric Williams of the Tacoma News Tribune.
Hasselbeck fractured his rib in week two against the 49ers and Seneca Wallace has done a decent job as Hasselbeck's replacement. However, the team has lost their last three games despite having the 12th-ranked passing offense (255.3 passing yards per game) in the NFL.
On the season, Wallace has completed 66 percent of his passes and has thrown three touchdowns and two interceptions. He also lost two fumbles against the Colts last week.
Coach Jim Mora says that Hasselbeck has looked "more comfortable" and "more confident" in each of the past three practices.
“He’s healthy enough to play, but if you get hit in the right spot, you kind of go back to square one again,” [receiver TJ] Houshmandzadeh said. “Hopefully that doesn’t happen, but it will help us because he was our starting quarterback for a reason.”
The Seahawks will be without three starting offensive linemen and have only six linemen on their active roster so protecting Hasselbeck will be a challenge as the Seahawks have allowed nine sacks so far this season.
Fortunately for the Seahawks, however, the Jags rank last in the league in sacks (three) and in passing defense (282.3 passing ypg) through four games.
