Hines Ward could miss Thursday Night game

The Pittsburgh Steelers may be without receiver Hines Ward against the Cleveland Browns on Thursday, according to ESPN's James Walker.

"We'll see where it goes, but it's not favorable for him," (coach Mike) Tomlin said.

The Steelers shouldn't need Ward to beat the Browns, who are arguably the worst team in the league. Then again, Pittsburgh is on a four-game losing streak including yesterday's loss to the Oakland Raiders with Ward.

That said, if Ward doesn't play, it increases the fantasy value of receivers Santonio Holmes and Mike Wallace.
