Andre Johnson practiced today and is expected to play in Week 17
This season, Texans receiver Andre Johnson has missed (nine) more games than he has played (six) due to hamstring injuries to both legs (at different times).
With Johnson returning to practice today, he is expected to play in Week 17 "barring a setback," per John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.
After losing back-to-back games, the Texans will look to avoid a three-game losing streak heading into their first postseason in franchise history. Considering that Johnson has missed the past three games, however, the Texans are likely to avoid overworking their stud receiver.
In his six games this season, Johnson has 31 receptions for 471 yards and two touchdowns. It will be the first time that Johnson will fall short of 1,200 receiving yards since 2007 when he played in only nine games.
