Poll of the Day: How many rushing yards will Willis McGahee have in Week 15?
Last week, Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow threw a season-high 40 pass attempts against the Bears. This week, the Broncos face the league's 32nd-ranked pass defense in the Patriots.
In other words, Tebow and the Broncos may continue to "air it out."
That said, the Broncos general preference is to play good defense, run the ball and control the clock.
Running back Willis McGahee, who was released by the Ravens in the offseason, has six 100-yard games this season, which is remarkable. McGahee needs only 80 yards to reach the 1,000-yard milestone. McGahee has three 1,000-yard seasons in his career, but he hasn't reached that milestone since 2007, which was his first season in Baltimore.
In his past six games, McGahee has rushed for 100-plus yards three times. In the other three games during that span, McGahee rushed for 17, 18 and 34 yards.
The Patriots rank 13th in the league in rushing defense (107.3 yards allowed per game), but they only allowed their first 100-yard rusher last week when Redskins rookie Roy Helu to rush for 126 yards.
Will McGahee rush for 100 yards this week? Or at least 80 to reach 1,000 for the season? Or will he have another performance with 34 yards or less?
