Doug Martin rushes for 142 yards, finishes season 74 YFS shy of 2,000
Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie running back Doug Martin rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown in today's win over the Falcons.
It was Martin's fifth 100-yard rushing game of the season (and since Week 8).
On the season, Martin finished with 319 carries for 1,454 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns in addition to 41 receptions for 472 yards and a touchdown.
His 1,450 rushing yards was the second-most in franchise history behind James Wilder, who rushed for 1,544 yards (on 407 carries) in 1984.
Although the 2012 season is not yet over, I will release my initial 2013 fantasy football rankings next week and Martin will certainly be a first-round pick next year.
