2013 NFL Mock Draft (3 Rounds): Denver Broncos Mock Draft
Three months away from the 2013 NFL Draft, all but two teams have shifted their focus to the offseason and draft.
Many sites including ours will attempt to project how the draft will play out and Kevin Hanson has updated his three-round mock draft this weekend. As we get closer to the draft, the plan is to project all seven rounds.
Some of you are fans of the NFL draft and take a big-picture view while others only really care how things will shake out for your particular team. Either way, we got you covered as we will start publishing 32 team posts to go along with our full mock draft for you to be able to follow it whatever way you deem appropriate.
In Hanson's updated 2013 mock draft, here are the Denver Broncos picks:
Pick 28. Shariff Floyd, DT, Florida
The Broncos have several defensive tackles that are due to become free agents after this season including both starters: Kevin Vickerson and Justin Bannan. Floyd lead the Gators in tackles for loss for a defense that ranked sixth in college football in rushing defense (96.6 yards allowed per game).
Yesterday, there were reports that at least one high-ranking NFL executive "guaranteed" to NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah that Floyd would be a top-10 pick. In other words, it's possible that Floyd will be long gone by this point in the draft.
Pick 60. Logan Ryan, CB, Rutgers
Champ Bailey will turn 35 years old this offseason.
A first-team All-Big East selection, Ryan was second on the team in interceptions (four). He led the team in passes broken up (17) and was tied for third in the country with three others in the category.
Pick 92. Mike Gillislee, RB, Florida
Becoming the Gators first 1,000-yard rushers since 2004, Gillislee rushed for 1,152 yards and 10 touchdowns and was a First-Team All-SEC selection last year.
