Teammate tweets that Jake Matthews will return for senior season

Earlier this month, there were reports that Texas A&M right tackle Jake Matthews would return for his senior season.

Now his teammate and fellow offensive lineman, Cedric Ogbuehi, has tweeted that Matthews will return for another year.

The deadline for underclassmen to declare for the 2013 NFL Draft is January 15th. In addition, underclassmen have until January 18th to withdraw themselves from the draft.

Assuming Matthews does return and left tackle Luke Joeckel does not, which is what most expect, then Matthews will move over to the left side to protect the blind side of Johnny Manziel, this year's Heisman Trophy winner.

In addition, Matthews would then have a chance to be the first offensive tackle selected in next year's draft.
