Fantasy Football Mock Draft Simulator: Complete Mocks in a Few Minutes
Want to speak Portuguese better? Want to play the guitar better? Want to become a better free-throw shooter?
If I asked anyone what would be the best way to achieve the desired outcome, the answer would invariably be to practice ... a lot.
While practice may not make "perfect," it will clearly make someone better at speaking Portuguese, playing the guitar, shooting free throws or whatever skill you'd like to improve.
At this point, you're probably thinking to yourself "this is a football site so who cares about speaking Portuguese or playing the guitar?"
You're right, but here's the point: If you want to draft better fantasy football teams, what is one of the ways you can make that happen?
If you said practice drafting a fantasy team (a lot), then you'd be right.
Check out this feature (via FantasyPros) that will allow you to complete a fantasy football mock draft within a matter of a few minutes. And repeat. (And you can do all of this for free).
With this mock simulator, you can modify the league settings. If your league is 12 teams and you have the sixth pick, you can set that and keep practicing with those settings.
Try different strategies and see what happens.
Although I would typically draft a RB in rounds 1 and 2, you can see how your team would look if you took Calvin Johnson with the sixth pick and then went RB/RB in rounds 2 and 3. Or maybe you draft three running backs with your first three picks and end up with Jamaal Charles, Chris Johnson and Lamar Miller, as an example. How would the rest of your team look if you took RB/RB/RB to start your draft?
Wait are you waiting for? Start practicing now.
