Trent Richardson has "no pain" in leg and will be ready for camp
After missing the team's mini-camp due to a muscle strain in his shin, Cleveland Browns second-year running back Trent Richardson is pain-free and says he will be ready when the team opens camp on July 25th.
"I have no pain at all in the leg,'' Richardson told Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "I'll be ready for camp and I'll be ready to go for the season."
"I'll be full-go right from the get-go and y'all out there will see me flying around," he said. "I can't wait to get out there and I can't wait for the first game. I've been waiting forever for this season and I know it's going to be a good one for us.''
Between his knee and ribs, Richardson never seemed to be healthy last year. While he had a disappointing 3.56 yards-per-carry average, he was also the only player in the league with double-digit rushing touchdowns and 50-plus receptions.
Provided he can stay healthy for the full season, Richardson should improve upon his rookie season and he's my seventh-ranked fantasy running back heading into the 2013 season.
