Von Miller facing (and appealing) four-game NFL suspension
When it comes to production on the field, things could not have gone much better for Denver Broncos linebacker Von MIller in his first two seasons as a pro.
One of the league's premier pass-rushers, Miller has nearly as many sacks (30.0) as he has games played (31) in his young career. Last season, Miller had 18.0 sacks, which ranked him third in the league in 2013.
Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Miller is facing a possible four-game suspension for violating an NFL league policy although he is currently appealing the suspension.
Mike Klis of the Denver Post tweets that Miller tested positive for amphetamines and marijuana during his rookie season.
After losing Elvis Dumervil after a fax-machine snafu to the Ravens, the Broncos could be without 29 combined sacks from Miller and Dumervil when they open up the season against the Super Bowl-champion Ravens on Thursday, September 5th (see schedule).
