Colts activate RB Ahmad Bradshaw from PUP list
The Indianapolis Colts have activated running back Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) from the PUP list today.
One of the league's toughest players, Bradshaw has been consistently hobbled by bum wheels.
Not only did Bradshaw have another foot surgery this offseason and his recovery from the surgery seemed to delay his eventual signing with a club, but he has had numerous surgeries on both of his feet and ankles.
As an example, here's a tweet from Jenny Vrentas that sums up what Bradshaw is (has been) dealing with when describing this year's procedure: "Bradshaw said the new screw is bigger and will go through 2 bones: The original one he fractured and the one cracked in '11."
When healthy (or at least on the field), however, Bradshaw will certainly be the team's lead back over Vick Ballard or any of the other team's running backs.
Going into the season, Bradshaw is my 30th-ranked fantasy running back, but he should perform better than that if he plays all 16 games (or close to it).
Bradshaw rushed for 1,015 yards, his second 1,000-yard season in the past three years, and six touchdowns while catching 23 passes for 245 yards in 2012.
