E.J. Manuel to have "minor" knee procedure, miss rest of preseason
Through two preseason games, Bills rookie quarterback E.J. Manuel had been impressive, but he will miss the next two preseason games due to his knee.

[Of course, it's easier to say that it's a "minor" procedure when it's not your own knee.]
In his first two preseason games, Manuel completed nearly 80 percent of his pass attempts (26-of-33, 78.8 percent) for 199 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. In addition, he has four rush attempts for 29 yards.
Before the news of the injury, it became clear that Manuel, not Kevin Kolb, would win the job as the team's starter. With his status for Week 1 of the regular season possibly in doubt, there's a good chance that Kolb will begin the season as the starter.
Either way, it won't (or shouldn't) be long before it's Manuel's job and he has top-15 fantasy upside once he's starting due to his dual-threat abilities.
