Le'Veon Bell leaves preseason game with right foot injury

Steelers rookie running back Le'Veon Bell was held out of the team's first preseason game due to his left knee.

After getting the start against the Redskins on Monday Night Football, Bell has left tonight's game and won't return due to his right foot. Bell rushed four times for nine yards.

Earlier this offseason, offensive coordinator Todd Haley has described Bell as a "three-down back," but of course, he will need to stay on the field for more than a series to become a three-down back.

Assuming that the foot injury isn't serious, I still expect Bell to lead all rookie rushers in touches in 2013 and he is my 19th-ranked fantasy running back heading into the 2013 season.
