Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert was 13-of-16 passing for 165 yards and a touchdown against the Jets last night, but he sprained his right thumb in the game.

Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew returned to live game action for the first time since suffering his Lisfranc injury last year and finished with three carries for 10 yards and one reception for 20 yards.

Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker will have his ankle examined on Sunday, per Jeff Legwold of the Denver Post.

In addition, Legwold tweeted that cornerback Champ Bailey is expected to miss some practice time with a foot injury.

Texans rookie receiver DeAndre Hopkins left last night's game with a concussion.

Rams receiver Chris Givens caught another pass of greater than 50 yards in last night's preseason game. He had a five-game streak of games with 50-yard receptions in 2012 and has a ton of big-play ability.

Dolphins receiver Mike Wallace had three receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown in last night's preseason game against the Texans.

Jets' Quinton Coples has a hairline fracture of his ankle and will rehab for three to four weeks with no surgery, per Manish Mehta of the NY Daily News.

Vikings wide receiver Jarius Wright suffered a concussion in Friday's preseason game.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said of wide receiver Jonathan Baldwin (via Adam Teicher of the Kansas City Star): "I can tell you that when given the opportunity in this league you’d better catch the football."

Chargers wide receiver Eddie Royal left yesterday's practice in an ambulance and has been diagnosed with a bruised lung and a concussion.

With Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson out for the Packers last night, tight end Jermichael Finley had four receptions for 78 yards to lead the team in receiving.

Dolphins tight end Dustin Keller left last night's preseason game with what is feared to be a season-ending knee injury.
