New Lions running back Reggie Bush says his chemistry is improving with quarterback Matthew Stafford and he offered to buy him a drink after finally catching a pass on a route with which he had previously had trouble.

Colts tight end Coby Fleener sat out of practice yesterday due to a concussion believed to have been suffered during the preseason game against the Bills.

Fleener's teammate Darrius Heyward-Bey probably wish he sat out of yesterday's practice in which he had approximately five drops.

Meanwhile, Colts running back Ahmad Bradshaw says he feels 100 percent, per Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star: “Oh, definitely. I guess that was part of the misinterpretation last week and I’m just ready to go ... We just want to take it slow, make it last the whole season.”

Both Justin Tuck and Hakeem Nicks are expected to play for the Giants in their second preseason game on Sunday.

Per John Oehser of, Cecil Shorts "sounds doubtful" for Saturday, but he would likely play if it were a regular-season game.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch writes of Chris Givens that "over the first 2½ weeks of training camp, no Rams receiver has been more consistent than Givens."
