Tom Brady (knee) is "day to day," MRI was negative

Unless you're living under a rock, you have probably heard that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady left today's practice after suffering a knee injury.

On the play (see video below), Buccaneers defensive end Adrian Clayborn knocks Patriots left tackle Nate Solder back into Brady.

Considering that Brady did not leave the field directly after that play and took another snap, it appeared that the injury was not too serious even if it looked bad in the video.

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the MRI on Brady's knee has come back negative and he is considered to be "day to day."

The Pats have plenty of new pass-catchers developing their chemistry and timing with Brady and it would make sense to not rush Brady back too soon. That said, Schefter reports that Brady is likely to practice on Thursday.

Brady is my fifth-ranked fantasy quarterback heading into the 2013 season.
